(AsiaGameHub) – SBC Summit Americas is set to host betting and regulatory leaders at its Leaders stage from June 10 to 11, where they’ll dive into the changing future of gaming across the Americas.
Press release. SBC Summit Americas will bring together key figures from leading betting companies Bet365 and DraftKings Predictions, as well as former U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy, to its Leaders stage for strategic talks about the shifting landscape of gaming and sports betting in the Americas.
Held on June 10-11 at the Broward County Convention Centre, the Leaders stage will assemble top executives from operators, regulatory agencies, Tribal groups, and related industries to explore the strategies needed to secure a competitive advantage in 2026.
The Leaders stage is part of SBC Summit Americas’ six-track conference agenda, covering sports betting and casino, affiliation, leadership, player safety, and regulation. Each track will shift focus between North and Latin American markets over the two days.
Rasmus Sojmark, founder and CEO of SBC, said: “Player expectations have changed in ways that I don’t believe anyone in the industry fully anticipated. A top-notch product isn’t sufficient anymore—you need to be an entertainment platform, a media brand, and even a financial service, all simultaneously.
“The variety of discussions on the Leaders stage highlights just how wide-ranging the industry has become. This allows us to bring together perspectives from both within and outside the gaming sector, and this year’s lineup features everyone from executives at some of the region’s largest operators to a member of the Kennedy family.”
The session ‘The Current State of Prediction Markets in the US’ will explore how prediction markets are blurring the boundaries between financial trading and sports betting, and what their fast growth implies for future U.S. regulations. Experts Jeanine Hightower Sellitto (Senior Vice President & General Manager at DraftKings Predictions), Alex Kane (CEO of Sporttrade), and Joshua B. Sterling (Partner at Milbank) will discuss whether prediction markets are a natural progression in gaming or a direct threat to current regulatory structures.
The broader impacts of new gaming models are further explored in the session ‘From Regulation to Representation: Giving Tribes a Voice in the Future of U.S. Gaming’. Joe Nayquonabe (CEO of Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort), Jacob Coin (VP Advisor for the Tribal Council), and Sheila Morago (CEO of Trilogy Group) will talk about how Tribal Nations are striving to safeguard their sovereignty and shape future gambling policies as prediction markets and sweepstakes-style platforms keep growing.
Extending the regulatory conversation is the session ‘Regulator Rumble: The Future of LatAm,’ which looks at the growing pressure on Latin American markets to balance fast digital expansion with clear regulations. Experts Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán (Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, Government of Puerto Rico), Fabio Macorin (Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting at Brazil’s Ministry of Finance), and Jaime Rivera Emmanuelli (Member at Saiber LLC and former regulator) will investigate how regulators and operators can collaborate on a unified regulatory strategy to ensure sustainable growth throughout the region.
The discussion then turns to engaging today’s contemporary player, with a set of panels looking at how technology and personalized marketing are fostering long-term customer loyalty.
The exclusive fireside chat, ‘Winning Is Everything,’ will feature bet365’s CMO Stephanie De Flora explaining the company’s expansion across North America and how the operator cultivated long-term customer engagement via localized marketing tactics.
The keynote ‘Unlocking AI to Drive Growth’ will delve deeper into the theme of personalization, with David Edelman (former CMO of Aetna) providing insights on how to engage players effectively and responsibly by using AI to personalize and automate customer experiences on a large scale.
In addition to commercial strategy and regulatory changes, the Leaders Stage will also tackle the rising significance of player protection and public health during the keynote ‘Building a Public Health Response to Gambling Harm’. Former U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy, along with industry and medical experts, will examine how prevention, treatment, education, and healthcare systems can more effectively fight gambling addiction as sports betting and online gaming continue to spread across the U.S.
More than just a conference schedule, SBC Summit Americas will act as a gathering place for C-suite executives, regulators, Tribal leaders, and policymakers to shape the next chapter of gaming across the Americas.
C-suite industry executives scheduled to participate in other conference tracks include Andrew Cochrane (COO of Soft2Bet), Ian Botts (CTO of Fanatics Betting & Gaming), Kip Levin (CEO of Geocomply), Manuel Stan (CEO of Catena Media), Marco Emilio Hincapie (President of Coljuegos), Macario Gallegos (SVP & Chief Information Officer at Seminole Hard Rock), Stuart Simms (Group CEO of FairPlay Sports Media), and many others.
SBC Summit Americas will be held from June 9 to 11, 2026, at the Broward County Convention Centre in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
