(AsiaGameHub) – SOFTSWISS took home the Industry Culture Shaper title at the 2026 Casino Guru Awards, and Valentina Bagniya, its Chief Marketing Officer, was honored with the Woman Leader of the Year award.
Press release: SOFTSWISS, a global igaming software provider, has been awarded two distinctions at the 2026 Casino Guru Awards. The firm claimed the Industry Culture Shaper category, and Valentina Bagniya, SOFTSWISS’s Chief Marketing Officer, earned the Woman Leader of the Year award. The recipients were revealed during a live event held on May 25, 2026, at The Xara Lodge in Malta.
The Industry Culture Shaper category recognizes companies that develop initiatives with tangible effects on their employees’ personal and professional growth, as well as those that set new workplace benchmarks within the igaming sector.
In 2025, over 500 SOFTSWISS staff members had access to professional mental health resources. More than 800 participated in internal and external training programs, and over 700 enhanced their language abilities via company-funded courses. Employee referrals made up 31 percent of the company’s new hires that year.
SOFTSWISS’s key people-focused initiatives for 2025 are as follows:
- SOFTSWISS Young Fest: a four-day celebration marking the company’s 15th anniversary, held in Turkey, which united more than 2,000 employees and partners from 46 nations. This event recently won five awards at the 2026 Eventex Awards, including a gold medal in the Corporate Event category.
- SOFTSWISS Kids Camp: an 11-day summer program designed for employees’ children. It secured the 2025 Eventex Award in the Corporate Event category.
In addition to the company’s accolade, the Casino Guru Awards named Valentina Bagniya Woman Leader of the Year for her role in driving SOFTSWISS’s global brand expansion and shaping its marketing strategy.
Since joining SOFTSWISS in 2020, Bagniya has built the company’s marketing division from scratch. Currently, the team comprises 70 experts specializing in PR, events, digital campaigns, employer branding, social media, creative production, and analytics. Under her guidance, SOFTSWISS has held the top media share of voice in the igaming industry for four straight years and has boosted its global brand awareness by five times.
With Bagniya at the helm, the tech provider has expanded its global presence via campaigns starring F1 icon Rubens Barrichello—SOFTSWISS’s Non-Executive Director for Latin America—and has rolled out large-scale brand activations at events like ICE Barcelona, SBC Lisbon, and SiGMA Central Europe.
Valentina Bagniya, SOFTSWISS’s Chief Marketing Officer, stated: “Receiving these awards together feels meaningful because they both highlight the same core element—SOFTSWISS’s people. None of this would be possible with just one individual; it’s the outcome of a team that consistently brings ideas, energy, creativity, and a great deal of care to every task. I’m particularly pleased that Casino Guru acknowledged the culture driving our business, as fostering an environment where people want to develop and remain with us is just as important as our business achievements.”
Outside of SOFTSWISS, Bagniya frequently acts as a judge and speaker at key industry events. At the recent Next Valletta Summit in Malta, she kicked off the Marketing Hub with a keynote address focused on building resilient brands in established markets.
Alongside its work in shaping igaming culture, SOFTSWISS continues to impact the industry by launching new product lines. It was the first in the sector to introduce the Prediction Markets Platform—a fixed-odds solution that allows users to place event-based bets on real-world occurrences in politics, economics, and technology.
